Hazy morning on the Quabbin
The Quabbin Reservoir is the water supply for Boston. Created in the 1930’s by damming the three branches of the Swift River, four towns were unfortunately flooded and the residents displaced. However, as a result, a wilderness area was created, providing opportunities for hiking as well as wildlife and landscape photography.

Before the Quabbin was flooded, detailed surveys were done of all of the properties that were going to be taken, including photographs.
